PREPARING FOR TOMORROW 

This is our motto for Beachlands School. We are faced with the challenge of keeping pace with the world we live in. The world and work force is constantly changing and we need to be part of the community we live in so we are on the look out for authentic learning situations to engage the children in. It is important we equip the children with the knowledge, skills and habits they need in order to be effective learners. In order to do this we need to have an effective partnership with parents and community in order to provide all the learning opportunities that are available to the children. We are also interested in developing the emotional intelligence of children as well as academic intelligence. To do this we need parents to work with teachers to ensure each children is able to reach their potential.

is that our learning community is based upon quality relationships which develop skills, knowledge and habits that we will use to thrive and contribute effectively to the world we live in.

Communication is a key to running an effective organisation. We are constantly changing the way we communicate in order to empower you to be a partner in your child's education at Beachlands School.
Our web site is another method of communication. Please visit the individual classrooms where you will be able to email the class and communicate with the teacher and students.
