MATHS Our cross grouping worked really well at targeting students needs and we will continue this for 2013.  Our aim is to improve students knowledge and strategies and apply this learning to real life problems.  Try these relevant maths websites below
WRITING We are becoming exciting, capable writers.  We aim to write everyday experiencing a range of genres throughout the term.	Learning Pathways How can we stay in touch with our family and friends? This term we are learning about Communication.  We began the term with an exciting trip to Motat and are recognising how time and change effect peoples lives.  Please use the websites below to explore this idea further.

 

Housekeeping
Sports :  We expect that all students will change into their sports gear:  sports T shirt, school shorts and trainers (if desired).  Water bottles should also be brought to school daily. Students will be expected to change back into school uniform after their sports session.

Library:  Each student will be able to choose one book per session for a maximum of 2 weeks.

Assemblies:  Parents are welcome to attend whole school assembly every second Friday (1.45) and Kowhai Team assembly every second Thursday (2pm).  Please refer to homwework sheets for additional information.
