Dear Parents, Caregivers and Students,

Kia Ora and Happy New Year to all of you!   Exciting events this term include: The Power of One Show, Kool Kids, Swimming and Grandparents' Day.

We are
looking forward to meeting you all as our new term starts. We shall be exploring ways of learning together as we get to know each other better. Our first  two weeks will be full of fun activities as we make new friends and find out more about our Learning Community in Rooms 11, 12, 13, 14 and 17. We will be creating our own Class Treaties and celebrating our similarities and differences. We also have the exciting task of filling the classrooms with your wonderful displays as they are looking a little bare at the moment!

Thank you to everyone who has already purchased their stationery; please put your name on each book. Don't forget that hats are needed every day and to keep well hydrated during the day, a water bottle is very important.

Rosters and timetables are still to be confirmed.

Swimming:  Students will need togs, a towel and goggles if they wish.

Sports :  We expect that all students will change into their sports gear:  sports T shirt, school shorts and trainers (if desired).  Water bottles should also be brought to school daily. Students will be expected to change back into school uniform after their sports session.

Library:  Each student will be able to choose one book per session for a maximum of 2 weeks.

Assemblies:  Parents are welcome to attend whole school assembly on Monday (8.30) and Kowhai Team assembly every Thursday (1.45pm).  Class assemblies will continue this term and your support is welcome.
