The Enviro fair
For the past 3 years Mrs McLeod and the children from the enviro
group have thought of a way to raise money, and that thought was to
organise an 'Enviro fair'.
On Friday 21st May we had our EE fair for the third year running. This
year the school made nearly $2000 in total. Each class took part in this
by having a stall. "I was very pleased that an environmental message is
getting accross because there was very little rubbish after the EE fair"
says Mrs McLeod.
The money goes to an account that the school holds called Environmental
funds. When teachers or students want money to do some work they ask
Mrs McLeod.
It's important to have an EE fair because it gives us money to work on
sustainable projects around the school.
Check out what some of the students have said about the day.
The things for sale were interesting

I enjoyed seeing everyone have loads of fun
- Lauren, Rm 13
There were lots of lollies, cool toys and other things, everything was
cheap

What a great day we had and we raised a lot of money at the same time.
