Beachlands School .::. Room 2

Welcome back after a short, but well deserved holiday. We are pleased to welcome two new friends; Chloe and Lauren Dickin. We are glad to have you in our class.

We kicked off with a busy first week: We had a very inspiring and creative art morning with Graham Braddock. He taught us to draw mail boxes in 3D and some of the students really showed a lot of talent. We also had a very interesting morning when Oceans Alive visited our school.

Environment Project:

We worked hard in our garden behind Room 2 and it looks lovely but we will have to keep it up. Our next project will be to plant flowers and Swan plants in the Butterfly Garden in front of Room 2.

Goals and leaning:
The students have set their goal for term 3 and they are determined to improve in all areas. We are going to work extremely hard so that they can move up to higher levels. Thank you to all parents who are helping their children with their homework (spelling, reading, reading the Word Lists, etc.) and for signing their books on a daily basis. You are making my task easier and I really appreciate it.
