Its term 2 already! We hope you and the children had a relaxing break and enjoyed the last of the sunshine.
PE gear /school uniform
The school uniform is compulsory and regulation footwear is to be worn to and from school. The PE uniform is needed for all sports activities to ensure change from their normal class clothing for strenuous activity. Our PE days change throughout the week because we have coaches from Te Puru in this term. Please encourage your child to have their gear in school all week.
Assembly
The Rimu Assembly will be held this term on Monday 11th June at 2pm in the hall. All parents and caregivers are welcome to come to the assembly and share in the children’s learning.
At Beachlands, we believe that learning should happen at home and at school. The Tui programme encourages children to be independent, self-motivated and learn in a variety of interesting ways. A list of the activities were sent home last term. To achieve the Tui challenge, each child must complete at least two activities from each section, and complete 10 activities in total. They must provide evidence of success and complete a reflection sheet for each activity.
Key Dates for Term two
