Beachlands School .::. Room 19

Welcome to Term 3.   This will be a busy, yet exciting term as we continue to extend our learning in all curriculum areas as well as prepare for our Intermediate production.

Have you visited our virtual classroom yet?   This is a special place that can only be entered with a login and password.   If your child is in Room 19, ask if they could take you on a visit of their 'virtual classroom' - it continues to grow as we develop it over the year.

Our school's weekly newsletter and your child's home learning sheet can be obtained via this website. Go to the home page and scoot down to 'Newsletters/Home Learning'. The newsletter can be viewed here by clicking on the appropriate term and week.   The home learning sheet can be found by moving from the main page 'Newsletters/Home Learning', then across to 'Intermediate' and 'Home Learning'. Select the week and there you are.   No need to print it out either as the students are to write all answers in their book, not on the sheet.

Just a little bit of house keeping for the students to make their life easier:
Daily:  Bring a bottle of water. This helps to keep your brain fresh and kidneys healthy.
Monday:   Make sure that you have your closed shoes on for the Learning Pathway Centre.
Tuesday: Place your order for sushi - delievered Wednesday.
Thursday:   Our class library day. Bring your book back if you have had it for 2 weeks.
Thursday& Friday: Bring your PE gear for sports/PE.   It's now the wet season and we don't want dirty school uniforms.
